United Excel Exhibits at 2017 ASHE PDC Summit
United Excel recently exhibited at the 2017 PDC Summit in Orlando, Florida.
The PDC Summit is hosted by the American Society for Healthcare Engineering in collaboration with the American Hospital Association, the American Institute of Architects Academy of Architecture for Health, American College of Healthcare Architects and the Facility Guidelines Institute.
The dynamic industry event featured cutting-edge presentations revolving around healthcare planning, design, and construction. Networking events were held throughout the conference, during which attendees could share perspectives on optimizing healing environments.
More than 3,200 individuals attended this year’s conference. PDC summit attendees included hospital administrators, architects, interior designers, construction professionals and health care facility management professionals.
The conference offered more than 70 education sessions led by thought leaders in healthcare, with up to 2.3 continuing education units (CEUs) available for the American Hospital Association and 23 learning units available for the American Institute of Architects.
Sessions touched on seven timely subjects in the healthcare field: reducing costs, improving the patent experience, delivering value through construction, shifting care outside (the traditional hospital), managing infection prevention, accommodating technology and innovation and complying with regulatory requirements.
All conference revenue is reinvested into the mission of optimizing the healthcare physical environment.
